Overview, bomb site A

The bomb site is an isolated building and can covered from a distance by snipers, but both teams will have to get some one in there to plant / defuse, and this is where your Bettys can win or lose the round for your team. There are no useful hiding places on the outside of the building so the bettys have to be placed in side.

Once in side the bomb site there are not that many hiding places for Betty. But by simply concealing Betty around a corner can make all the difference.

West entrance to bomb site A

It is very unlikely that the enemy will be looking in this corner when they enter the bomb site. Place it just far enough back so that it can’t be seen. Practice makes perfect

This is a cunning place to drop your Betty. It covers two entrances. Sometimes you will get lucky and have players entering form both door ways at the same time, you will get them both.

Not a super place for Betty, but they are hard on this map.

Just placed as far in the corner as you can get it.

One of the best places in this bomb site is if there happens to be a fallen solder, just booby trap his body.

Overview of bomb site B

Also set in an isolated building. It should be twice as hard to get here due to the closeness to the defending teams spawn, but it can in fact be easer to plant here owing to the fact that most teams put all of there recourses on A.

Bomb site B. north entrance

Once the bomb has been planted. This for me is a 100% sure kill. Most of the enemy will be scratching around site A. on hearing that the bomb has been planted will make there way over to bomb site B by the shortest route. When they round the corner Betty will say hello.  

Bomb sits B. Far East side entrance

This is a great place to plant you Betty, so few players look in here. Most even do not know its there. Remember to plant away from the wall.

Bomb site B, west entrance.

I really wish I had some super place to hide Bettys in this entrance, but I don’t, sorry. What you see is afraid the best I have got. If you know of a better place please get in touch.

Moving on, we need to look at how we stop / slow down the flankers.

And thanks to the amount of snipers on this map rushers dive for any peace of cover that they can find. Any where there is a spot on the map with a bit of cover a Betty will slow them down

Attacking side spawn. Left side

If you are a sniper you can hide a Betty behind this wall. It will work wonders at protecting you. Even if they have bomb squad on, you will hear the explosion and have time to face the threat.

Defenders spawn point.

Another one for the snipers, this time for the defenders. Very much the same as the above Betty.

Any piece of plant life.

There is so little vegetation cover on this map that you can bet you bottom dollar that at some stage some one will take cover in it. Especially when there are lots of players on the server. A Betty at the bottom of the tree will make them think twice next time.

I was shocked when some one told me about this placement. As far as I can tell when players run up and down stairs they do so with there eyes closed. Don’t ask me why, I just know it works. Well it does on the servers I play on.
