I really do like upheaval. It was the first map I spent some time on learning the routs, and working out the Betty placements.

It’s a smallish map, but with lots of cover. And with only a few players on you really have to watch for counter attack from the flank.

Bomb site A can be a real pain to defend / attack. With the attacking side able to see the bomb site almost from the start you will need smoke to get Bettys in to place

Placement A.

A Betty hidden beside these bins, can sit there all round, then pick of the unexpecting

Placement B.

Can be a little out in the open but the enemy will often missing seeing it as they dive for cover.

Ether side of this wood pile is a good Betty spot. The enemy just seen drawn to it

Again any peace of cover is a good place for a Betty at site A. you will often see players running from one peace of cover to the next. I like to think they are throwing them self’s on my Bettys to get a Yahtzee.

When attacking site A. a Betty dropped in this area will protect your flank form the rushers

Bomb site B. can be a nightmare to defend and attack. Theres just so many hiding places

I often try to avoid planting Bettys close to the bomb site, but here there is so much long grass it would be a crime not to use it.

With players able to jump the fences at this site it takes away the normal planting at choke points. So once again the long grass is used.

I have found that this placement can work well after you have planted

This is a nice little spot. Players will often hide in here to scout the bomb site. Leave them a little welcoming present.

Once the bomb has been planted the enemy will come streaming in from the other bomb site. Cut them down in there prime with this well placed Betty.

Moving on to the many building on this map. If you are going up stairs you really need to leave a Betty on guard duty down stairs

In the butchers shot I have found that when defending this Betty gets many a kill.

This Betty is hidden well in the corner. They will never see it, unless they have bomb squad or have read this web site.

Every where on this map where there is cover and some long grass are worth a Betty.
